Jackson sits atop the extinct Jackson Volcano, located 2,900 feet (880 m) underground. It is the only capital city in the United States to have this feature. The buried peak of the volcano is located directly below the Mississippi Coliseum.
2020 Demographics:
Black — 78.55%
White — 16.54%
Hispanic — 2.09%
Bet the public health people could trace this to less than 10 guys.

The population of Jackson, MS is 53.8% female and 82.8% black/AA. Only 1.5% are Hispanic/Latino.
This is all homegrown problems from a certain demographic.

I used to teach in an all black hs in Jackson MS and when the blood drive would come by they’d half to throw out half the blood donated because of STDs a nurse there told me. I said, “what? you’re kidding,” and she nodded and said, “well, it’s more than half.”
