“People won’t pay for 10 subscriptions”

What you’re telling us in interesting!

What if the one subscription costs $100. Ouch! All I want is older and foreign (British and Australian) content. Maybe a cheaper option for that stuff.

Amazon Prime which has picked up BritBox is in there now. I don’t see their streaming service disappearing.

It’s probably doable with movies and television if they have enough content. That would actually be less than a cable subscription package if you get a few premium channels. Of course not everyone would want to pay that much, but a site could also offer different pricing plans.

Well, iTunes didn’t disappear when Spotify started. People still use it, but iTunes did have to adapt to offer a streaming model instead of just their old “$1 a song” model.
