Most grocery stores likely throw out more groceries every day, than the amount of groceries stolen by customers every day... The losses are peanuts and the self checkout offers convenience for the customer.
Self checkout isn’t going anywhere. For instance... When is the last time you talked with a bank teller? Exactly!
I know... Some of you talk to your teller every day... But most people haven’t seen a teller in years. I know I haven’t.
The only time I deal with a teller is if I have a cash deposit. I don't like to use the ATM for that.
I also don’t like to use the ATM either. I prefer to go into the bank talk to a teller.
