A court filing made public this week reveals that Fox News hosts including Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham were privately critical of Donald Trump's claims that the 2020 election was stolen, with Carlson going so far as to call the former president "demonic."

Carlson called Trump "a demonic force" and worried the president would "destroy" Fox News
Carlson, in other conversations in the wake of the election, privately took aim at Trump himself, calling the then-president "the undisputed world champion" of "destroying things," and worrying that he would "destroy us if we play it wrong."
By Jan. 6, hours after a violent mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, Carlson was again criticizing Trump, texting a colleague that the then-president was "a demonic force, a destroyer. But he's not going to destroy us."

“[T]here is this RAGING issue about fox losing tons of viewers and
many watching—get this—newsmax!
+++++++++++
They are describing me to a tee. I am very happy with Newsmax. Fox is in my rearview mirror. Kind of reminds me of how I feel about GWB2 now versus back in the early 2000’s.
You, like me, have never used regrettable hyperbole in the heat of the moment. I feel so superior!
“He believes it now”
How nice of him to take that stand now that it no longer matters.
He’s an actor, like the rest of them.
"He was Red Pilled and saw the light. Moved out of DC with his family."
Yes. And wasn't his family attacked by leftists lunatics? They broke the door to his house?
That would redpill anyone.
Now we’ll see if the Tucker fan club shows up
Fox SHOULD be worried about Newsmax.
The Newsmax election coverage in 2020 was far better even without the Rat party favoring early calls that showed Fox was on the other side.
Newsmax still calls it the Big Steal; Carlson and Fox only obliquely allude to a “problem” and “irregularities” in the 2020 election.
He strongly suggests that anyone who believes that Creepy Joe got 81 million votes is a moron.
The rhetoric of that period was that, the election wasn’t stolen, therefore, FOX and many others went along to get along, but, their principles didn’t matter.
Principles demand that questions be asked and that answers be received, but, better go along with the crowd that was making the biggest waves.
What is here that we didn’t already know? Fox news has always been; at best, a fence sitting entity. Corruption runs out in all directions. There is the old saying that, “money talks.” I see that it still holds true over a vast majority of the people in the political and media spheres.
The only thing I know for sure is that “in the end God wins!”
I am reasonably sure that Tucker is smart enough to know that comments such as that will go down well with his audience.
It never mattered. Once the theft of America happened, it could have never been undone by anyone. Don’t fool yourself.
Fox News threw Tucker under the bus in their legal response to Domininon:
Tucker Carlson:
Q. Did you ever communicate with Mr. Lachlan Murdoch in any way
about claims or election fraud in the 2020 election?
A. Not that I recall.
Q. Did you ever speak with Mr. – or communicate with Mr. Murdoch
in any mode or method about Dominion?
A. Not that I’m aware of.
Q. Or Sidney Powell?
A. Not that I’m aware of.
Q. Or Mike Lindell?
A. Not that I’m aware of.
* * *
I can say with complete certainty, allowing for somehow maybe I forget
it, but as I sit here now I can say with what I believe is complete
certainty I did not discuss [whether Mike Lindell would come on his
show] with the Murdochs. I can’t imagine that I would have.

Tucker is generally skeptical of most things and his shtick is built on questioning conventional wisdom and the media narrative.
I care little about his personal views and suspect he is far more liberal than you think. He has perfected a style that makes him the #1 show on cable news.
Nobody’s perfect. I mean, it’s idiotic to doubt the election was stolen *in many ways* IMHO, but Tucker does a hell of a lot of good for our side. Gotta let this one slide.
Look at my posting history while Tucker was collaborating on The Steal from Nov 2020-Feb 2021.
Tell Tucker that President Trump isn’t “Demonic”.
I think you are 100% off base.
Tucker isn’t #1anymore. The Five has been #1 for almost a year.
Tucker should be #1, but the Five is a good show, save for their stooge of the day.
