Fox News executives vetoed Trump from going on air Jan. 6, 2021, when hundreds of his supporters invaded the U.S. Capitol., court papers show.
The information comes from evidence unveiled this week in documents filed in Dominion’s $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News.
The documents also revealed that Fox Corp Chairman Rupert Murdoch told CEO Suzanne Scott its on-air personalities should tell viewers the night before Jan. 6 that Joe Biden won the election.

My take, everyone knows that riding the Trump train is like holding the tail of a tiger.
The problem is that its no use hoping for some form of off ramp, I speculate that cynical Fox News network at that time was hoping for some “off ramp” thinking they could get off the Trump train. Every never-Trump Republican thinks there is some kind of “off ramp,” some negotiated settlement with the Democrats. The Democratic party is run by people who are revolutionaries. They are so committed to the remaking of the country that there is no real “off-ramp,” there is no negotiated peace.
Its not possible.
And too many Republicans are their partners, because the Democrats actually have infiltrated the Republican Party over the years, just enough to render it useless, in terms of a real opposition party.
Fox News is blaming Trump for the Dominion lawsuit situation and Rupert Murdoch has already issued his marching orders to Fox News talent and staff for 2024.
And you really think Tucker will be allowed to reveal anything of substance from those J6 videos?
Wow, even Tucker hates Trump. One more reason to back DeSantis in the 2024 primaries. When you’ve lost Tucker Carlson, you’ve lost the Republican Party.

He was bragging to his DC cocktail party buddies how he voted for Kanye West as write-in candidate in 2020, and not Trump.
Did not know this. I always thought Tucker was firmly in the MAGA camp.
Could it be that they thought Trump would simply continue on with his “it was stolen” stuff and that everyone who did not vote with him was a traitor?
By the time the Senate was finished, the deal was done. There was nothing to be gained by having Trump come on air in any type of exclusive interview.
I thought Fox was tedious throughout this whole escapade. But, from their perspective there was zero to be gained, and a whole lot to lose in terms of access over the next four years.
Trump should focus on 2024 and leave this crap behind him. If he stuck to issues and solutions, Fox would be begging him to come back on their air every day. But he doesn’t.
I understand why he doesn’t. But that is not going to help him once the primaries are over.
