Probably because women tend to take more coverage than men for the same car.

Bu cops let them off on more tickets so it evens out.
maybe because men aren’t painting our faces while we’re driving...
And men end up paying that anyway....

And the article states, as long has been documented, that women have safer records.
I don’t imagine women drive more miles than men, but I do wonder whether this is controlled for age. In FL especially, lots of old folks who skew very much toward the female.
Otherwise, I’d go back to the wildly different quotes that companies offer—and whether men do more shopping around or have more college, union or employer discounts, etc.
That would be my guess.

Not stereotyping. But when I see a bad driver it is usually in this order:
Chinese Women
Black Women
White Women
Just a fact.
