Cars that can ignite now made in Mexico. What could possibly go wrong.
I saw an old-school Bullfight in Monterrey when I was a kid, I was puzzled by the structured cruelty of the bullfight and its appeal but have fond memories of the city.
Not many people know what Mexico used to be like, as a kid from Houston I had never seen burglar bars and recognized the broken glass embedded on top of the walls around the yards as an ominous indication of what kind of people inhabited Mexico, that was reinforced by having to toss some coins at the guys on the sidewalk to leave your car alone while you went into a business, that and the brutal treatment of the starving stray dogs.
The thing that I have never seen anywhere else was the bar with a tiled urinal/footrest running the length of it, a man could stand at the bar and drink, and urinate without moving.
He believes in America First...but until the USA makes itself user friendly...and we’re talking taxes...Elon will make the best decisions possible to maintain his companies.

Also, With China recently warning him about his Tweets, Musk is also SLOWLY weaning his production out of the CCP’s control ( which is a good idea ). He should have listened to Trump six years ago.
The only problem is the Mexican workforce. They really need to open a massive training center to get potential employees up to speed on some basics.
Next they need to wage war on their drug cartels so that they can ween government officials off their bribes and make them focus on actually trying to better their citizens and their economy.

Awhile back my internet modem was giving me trouble. It worked, then it didn’t work. So a technician came out and fussed with it. “What’s the problem?” I asked.
“They used to be made in the United States,” he replied. “Now they’re made in Mexico. That’s the problem.”
First the "Vega", next the "Fuego".
Or am I thinking “Nova” (not vega ) as in No Go.
Listen to Trump?? Musk is his own man. Trump does not and should not influence Musk’s decisions.
Musk should learn how to do water desalination on the cheap.
He has all the tools.
All he needs is to design desalination plants sized to fit on a space vehicle, truck or barge. Each plant could stand alone or snap together with other desalination plants of the same design to form larger plants.
Each plant would be created using the stamping process he uses with his car. He could scale the process by using the same stamping machines to create similar size HVACs.
the lowest cost desalination plants are made by israel and singapore. they make desalinated water for about $500@acre foot. Musk could do the same job for $300@acre foot. At that cost desalinated water would be cheap enough for all agriculture except for field crops.
Aqua Chem already does that for a living. They make all sizes
Meanwhile, he’s making one EV every 40 seconds
You mean our standard of living is too high and we like to breathe clean air here. We all know there isnt a free market, but companies love outsourcing to the heavy hand of commie and corrupt countries which serve their concerns.
All standards of living is artificial. Even now debt is proping up our economy via massive government spending. That illusion of living is why so many companies want to import their products here because we have a higher illusion value than others. Not only that, but our courts and politicians tend to favor companies in many ways.
American Companies, not Global Conglomerates
