Where are they making those things????
The thought of eating something produced under those circumstances.... And I kind of liked them when I could eat them. They were never my first choice of snack food, but I would not turn them down.
They seem to have 6 locations in the Midwest (MI, MN, IN, 2 in IL) and Washington State, also another one in Virginia.
The one in Grand Rapids seems to be where they found the under-age workers.
This should be investigated to the utmost: the company, the staffing agency, the “sponsors” of the children.
Remember a few years ago people were talking about how the Indians (from India) had taken over the financial contracting sector? This could be similar....
I read an editorial about how Ben & Jerry’s supports immigration and how as a result they had child labor making their ice cream. I did not understand that article then but now I do.
