I’m not a big proponent of divorce at the first sign of a disagreement. But George Conway was very vocal in his intent to cause harm to his wife’s career, her boss, and his own family.
Even if you have disagreements politically, why keep pushing those disagreements public and encourage others to disparage your wife? He encouraged his teen daughter’s rebellion and praised her conflicts that he helped instigate with her mother. It never made sense to me.
