Man sets himself on fire on UC Berkeley campus in alarming video
A man allegedly experiencing a severe mental health episode set himself on fire at the University of California at Berkeley on Wednesday — and a video capturing the distressing incident has been viewed online more than 350,000 times.
The public self-immolation was reported to authorities at 4:17 p.m. after a young man completely engulfed in flames was seen walking at Sproul Plaza on campus.
Bystander videos that are circulating on social media show onlookers trying to come to the man’s aid by pouring water on him and swatting at the flames with their jackets.
One person is heard repeatedly shouting “Get on the ground” at the burning man, but he does not heed the command and continues wandering around in full view of horrified passersby.

Very sad. He kept yelling about the “Mormon Mafia”. Scientology Mafia, I could almost believe. I used to know a group of them. But Mormons? On the other hand, there was a lot of talk after Harry Reid had that unfortunate incident with his Exercise Machine.
Sadly, the left will likely sue those who tried to help put out the flames, thus denying this person their 1st amendment right to self-expression.
Wanna stop crime? Make this guy the poster boy for rapists, murderers, looters, and ... spammers. Decrease the debt with Pay-per-View.
