The so-called Eagle Take Rule, finalized by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, puts many thousands of the nation’s protected Bald and Golden Eagles at unacceptable risk. It allows the birds to be killed without penalty for the wind industry.

When confronted about this, John Kerry retorted, “birds get killed by cars all the time and nobody complains.”
