Alex Murdaugh’s brother Randy thinks he is lying, ‘knows more’ about murders
New York Post ^ | March 7, 2023 | Lee Brown

Alex Murdaugh’s older brother is convinced the convicted murderer is still lying over the brutal slayings of his wife and son.

“He knows more than what he’s saying,” Randy Murdaugh, 56, told the New York Times of his drug-addicted, serial-lying brother who still denies gunning down wife Maggie, 52, and son Paul, 22.

“He’s not telling the truth, in my opinion, about everything there.” Randy’s admission is in sharp contrast to a claim by his 54-year-old brother’s defense team that the whole family was “more convinced” of the disgraced legal scion’s innocence after his six-week trial.

I think it was the brother that did it.

Does it matter? He was convicted and sentenced to life.

He got 2 life w/o parole sentences.

Practically speaking.. Does it matter what he said, or will say?

Murdaugh didn’t pull the triggers, he doesn’t have the stones, he paid someone to do it.

Randy Murdaugh is trying to distance himself from Alex.

Now, that we know Alex stole millions from clients, it is not a stretch to believe that many of the other lawyers at the law firm were doing the same thing.

Now, the clients will come forward and start making demands to see the law firm books.

There isn't any evidence supporting that assumption. Even if he hired a hit man, that doesn't change the verdict.

My question is...how wide-spread could this(lawyer/law firm) corruption be?

Are there no checks and balances to make sure ALL monies get distributed to the proper parties after settlements?

...and how could 1 person pull that off?

This wasn't Office Space stealing pennies from millions of bytes, he stole tens of thousands for years...and nobody said/knew anything?

Heck, I thought only politicians/finance executives had a monopoly on that type of thing.

The Law license IS a license to steal.

I wasn’t suggesting it should change the verdict, he should be in prison double lifetime. We live in the low country and several people we know who knew him said the same thing, he is spineless and hired someone. There is just as little evidence that he was the shooter. There was some interesting testimony from his dog caretaker, who testified that one of the dogs got hung up in its cage and was dying. Alex and caretaker agreed it had to be put down. Alex told the him he couldn’t do it and asked the guy if he would. It really doesn’t matter, he killed them one way or the other, except there are some missing parts to this story.

Ok. We are the same page. As far as the dog goes, I would think a vet would be available to put down the injured dog instead of shooting it..

So far we know of this corruption associated with the Murdaugh Law Firm

LAWYER ALEX MURDAUGH
LAWYER CORY FLEMING
BANKER RUSSELL LAFITTE

JUDGE CARMINE MULLEN is a maybe corrupt judge. No charges yet.

From what I understand the lawyers ‘self-police’ themselves and the law firms are not subject to audits by an outside company.

Howver, since Trial Lawyers are MAJOR contributors to political campaigns (especially Democrats), I would expect the trail lawyers and their paid politicians will work very hard to cover up financial crimes done by other lawyers who were associated with Alex Murdaugh.

I totally agree...it was the brother !!

What father would turn in his own son.
Of course he wouldnt turn in his son to life sentences.
Buster ( the older brother ) has had some questionable episodes including the death of a friend.

So the father took the wrap rather than turn in Buster.

Look, I asked Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti if attorneys can be trusted with client funds and he assured me they absolutely could 100%!

Let me add this:

“””Alan Wilson ( Republican Party) is the Attorney General of South Carolina. He assumed office on January 12, 2011. His current term ends on January 13, 2027. Wilson ( Republican Party) ran for re-election for Attorney General of South Carolina. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.”””

Alan Wilson is said to have political ambitions for higher office and he might want to make Trial Lawyer Corruption his campaign slogan.

It was interesting to me that the Attorney General of South Carolina sat with the prosecuting attorneys during most of the Murdaugh trial.

If Buster had been in the area at the time of the killings, I would agree.

But Buster was in Rock Hill, SC at the time of the killings.

So Alex did not fall on his sword to save Buster.

Alec might regret being in prison if he’s becomes popular with the guys who are looking for some type of companionship. He will be with other vicious murderers, just like him.
