When Democratic Sen. Jon Tester finally announced that he’s running for reelection from Montana, you could almost hear the collective sigh of relief from party leaders. The same dodged-bullet greeted Ohio Democrat Sherrod Brown when he revealed: “I’m running in 2024,”

My friends we can tell the rats are scared by them saying the border is secure. They know they'll lose so do as much damage as possible in the meantime. It just means our efforts to win and be more drastic changing things will be more imperative.
Montana has a strong legislature(red). They can stop harvesting. Would Ohio?
I won’t ‘watch’ these races. I’ll give my usual donation to the strong GOP candidate provided he/she’s doesn’t end up like the 2 gov. candidates in Mich/Oregon. Fooled me. This Vivek fella has plenty off his own money as well as a slender(young) build. Contrast with Sherrod. Would he want to be one of a hundred? You gotta start somewhere and POTUS is aiming too high for rookies.
Montana Republicans must over come newly transplanted Californians, unions (miners), students (urban areas). Not an easy thing to do. Outside $$ a factor as well.
Smaller state(population) has lower advertising rates.
Ohio? It’s gotten more red and Vance could be leading the politics in another direction. An anti-trade candidate with entrepreneurial spirit could followup on his lead. Remember Vance tapped into his Appalachia roots while Ryan was an old school democrat trying to have it both ways.
The Democrat press in Montana has already been attacking possible Republican Senate candidates.
Our free and fair press.
Brown first got elected because he had the same last name as a long time Republican, Clarence Brown. Sherrod comes from Mansfield and it is no small secret that he beat his first wife.

If we couldn’t beat Masto, Kelly, Warnock or Hassan in a midterm, then I’m not optimistic about beating Tester or Brown in a Presidential election year..
Yes but. 2018-We got pickups with Scott/Fl, Braun/Ind,Hawley/Missouri,Cramer/ND.
We blew Az/Flake,Nv/Heller.
The pickups were in red states where we should win to begin with.
The lost seats were in what could be best described as purple states. Or as one distinguished senator called candidate quality.
Between candidate quality and red state electorates we can pick them up. Incumbency is tough to beat.
Az.-Sinema-issues with the far left.
Nv.-Rosen-might be too tough.
Penn-Caseys a lightweight. There may be 2 seats there. Make them work for it.

What it means is prepare for a big turnover by exploiting the rift that got Bernies 2016 nomination stolen.

They might have trouble with this race.
The Democrat ballot fraud machine in Ohio has been having trouble the last few cycles.
