I'll say again: the barbarian invaders of the 400s were not Christian. This is just plain wrong. Alaric was not a baptised Christian. Attila the Hun was not baptised Christian. Gaiseric was not a baptised Christian. The evangelization of the barbarian tribes occured after Rome and Italy were conquered.
