They look placid but can be dangerous.

Not a zebra but I know a woman who has a donkey for her horses.

The will attack coyotes, pin them with their front hooves and rip them up.

Coyotes are afraid of donkeys. Horses like donkeys.

On an episode of Yellowstone, Kayce Dutton advised a neighboring rancher to get some donkeys, “mean ones,” to turn out with the cattle and keep the wolves away.

There is a cool little obscure park in Palo Alto, California with donkeys. Two of these guys have passed on but there are replacements. They are huge hit with the little kids in the neighborhood. Our kids used to LOVE riding our bikes over there to visit them.

Donkeys at that park go back decades, so it's a bit of nostalgia for parents raised in the area.
