Don’t know what is going on would be called, but to call it “investigating” lends it much more credibility than it deserves.
Oh, it’s investigating alright. But it is “Spanish-Inquisition” type investigation that is or should be illegal.
Instead of actual probable cause of a crime triggering an investigation (constitutional and legal), the tyrants are conducting baseless investigations of political enemies looking for probable cause (utterly unconstitutional and illegal).
