I think the issue is the character is named Mario, which is often an Italian man’s name, but Chris Pratt is not Italian, to which I say SO WHAT? It’s a CARTOON. He is an ACTOR who pretends for a living. Some folks cannot relax and enjoy the simple things.
As Freud may have privately said;
“Sometimes, a cartoon is just a cartoon!”
And Mario and his brother are supposedly from Brooklyn.
Are these complainers going to turn “Italian” back in to a race?
