Ukraine has launched a competition for drone developers to land an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) on Red Square in Moscow during the May 9 parade for a cash prize.
The competition was announced by the co-founder of Monobank and developer of the Dovbush drone Volodymyr Yatsenko.
Writing on Facebook, he said, "I am officially awarding a prize to a Ukrainian UAV manufacturer, whose aircraft, with the help of the military, of course, will fly and land on Red Square in Moscow on May 9".
The public is invited to add to the prize fund, which currently stands at 20 million hryvnias (more than £440,000) for the first drone to successfully land.
“I hope that this amount will be fairly divided between the manufacturer and the military operators who will successfully complete the task, and will be directed to the improvement of the UAV,” Volodymyr Yatsenko said.
He also added that a Ukrainian slogan had to be indicated on the wings of the drone that would fly to Red Square, for example, "Glory to Ukraine", "Glory to Heroes", to identify any that reach the destination.

Who’s money are they using? I thought they were broke and still grifting for more?
They’re paying?
I don’t get the punchline. Did Ukraine steal the funds from Putin? The leadership?
I probably just need a nap.
That said, no money for Ukraine. I don’t want a penny of my money going there. We’re broke here.
I remember that guy. Was he self funded?
Competition to knock the cap off the vodka swilling Russian bear. Is Putin still hiding out in his billion dollar compound in Sochi? Seeing his cancer specialists and getting vitamin C drips.
Hussein O. did that for the Iranians.
Bottom photo, is she pointing a pistol?
I think so.
“(Whose) money are they using?”
This Yatsenko fellow would appear to be the source of funding per the story.

Where did get the funds? Let’s play a game called follow the money.
Do it and watch what happens. Morons.
They should call it the ‘Mathias Rust Prize’.
“Where did get the funds?”
He owns a bank and a drone manufacturer. He has been using his proceeds from the bank and donations from his customers to produce about ten drones per day for the Ukrainian military.
I doubt that he expects a drone to fly from Ukraine to Moscow but it might be feasible to launch one in Mosocw and fly it or program it to fly to Red Square.

Really? What’s Russia going to do if Putin is embarrased by a Ukrainian drone disrupting his parade? Go to war against Ukraine?
No. He died from ovarian cancer years ago after Ukraine gay-danced into Moscow and covered it in rainbow flags. He also had toenail fungus, (it was a really bad case of it), and suffered a major heart attack while taking dancing lessons from The Greatest Freedom Fighter the World Has Ever Known!!
🤣
Russia should do likewise - except drone Zelensky.
They need him to suck the west dry - so they won’t.
That should require a barf alert!
Excuse me while I take a shower, brush my teeth and attempt to talk myself out of suicide.
