Well, if I were living in Connecticut, I would be a formally registered Republican. I am also registered as Republican here in Arizona. But in Wisconsin, Illinois and Georgia I don't show up as anything, even though I am still the same kind of voter. There may be many people who regard themselves as Republicans, and are even officers of the party as I was in Georgia, who don't show up as registered Republicans, so the numbers are incomplete.

Of course, even though I am a registered Republican, I vote 3rd Party when the Republicans throw a Romney at me.
