If you can find a Brandywine Crab and don't mind a little bit of a messy tree, I'd highly recommend that! This is mine; I had to leave her behind on my other farm. :( I've been looking for one for a number of years for this farm. Absolutely stunning when in bloom and produces HUGE crab apples for sweet pickling or adding to apple pies for some tang. They're good when added to a batch of applesauce, too. A very useful tree!
