I have 75,000 E-mails spread over 4 accounts. The junk I get is overwhelming.
I don’t keep any more than 15 messages in my inbox. Delete or folder off if needed later as a rule.
Eventually I will haul the bins of long ago burned discs off for destruction. Almost none of them have been looked at since they were made.
I am email blast lists for suppliers. I pretty much don’t have a choice if I want to keep up with new products and dated promos that I can suggest to my customers. But it is a royal PITA keeping up with them and deleting them.
Also I have to keep client emails for 3-6 months for several reasons. I get stuff like “remember that thing I was asking you about last fall, what is the current pricing & availability”. It is somewhat overwhelming, but it’s part of my business. BTW, the same crap piles up on my phone and takes time to delete.
