Never thought Barbie and her dog Tanner would make this list.
Remember clackers, they were somewhat annoying. Every boy back in the day had a cap gun and slingshot.
Surprised a BB gun didn't make the list.

We called them click-clacks. And yeah, they were sorta dangerous, but you learned quickly what NOT to do,

There was a toy that had to be recalled: Riviton I believe.
It included rubber rivets, but unfortunately at least two small children choked to death on the rivets and the toy was recalled by the maker of the toy, Parker Brothers.

Had the Thing Maker and Wood Burning kit.
Also had the Ronco Bottle Cutting Kit to make drinking glasses.

Lawn darts weren’t a problem if used under supervision. But…many parents are lazy $$$$$$$ morons.

I’m kind of surprised my favorite childhood toy, Dry Cleaner Bag didn’t make the list.
I played with those for years when I was little, and sometimes my parents’ friends acted shocked, but man, they were fun!

Amazingly, most of us here had at least one of these toys and survived.

“Austin Magic Pistol and Mattel’s Belt Buckle Derringer, both from the ‘50s. The former used “magic crystals” — a.k.a. calcium carbide — to launch ping pong balls.”
Mixed with water, that makes acetylene. See YouTube for people filling a bag with acetylene and detonating it.

Hard to believe the RedRanger Rifle didn’t make the list. Maybe the author never saw the movie.

I had a Mattel Power Shop. Great fun! OW!
They don't make stuff like that anymore. Everybody's too dumb, or scared...

I’m surprise 4 wheelers, mopeds or sling shots were not on here.
