Why not stop government funding of education and have it improve like every service from companies that compete and don’t get government money?
Even the Founding Fathers backed public some level of public supported education. For example, Thomas Jefferson’s UVA was chartered as a public institution, a SELECTIVE public institution. Just we lately have been incompetent in our managing of such institutions doesn’t mean they’re wrong.
