I’ve had many c-diff infections after IV antibiotics in hospital due to diverticulitis. Painful. Horrible. You try to get close relatives to donate. I will try it if I can find a donor. That seems unlikely. Vancomycin is the best choice now.
I think I had my cdiff infection from a not properly sterilized colonoscope.
