I had understood Harrelson to be a leftist of staggering credentials.
Additionally I have heard all sorts of gossip about his Dad over the years even down to being involved in the JFK assassination and wild stuff like that.
Charles Harrelson was a very interesting guy.
Acquitted of one murder- Check
Implicated in the assasination of JFK-Check
Convicted of a murder for hire-Check
Hired by drug dealers to kill a federal judge-Check
Father of a Academy Award Nominated Actor-Check
And possibly another Oscar winning actor
Died of a heart attack in the Supermax prison in Colorado-Check
okay. I suppose that this is something that somebody really cares about. I do not.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they were half brothers or cousins, if not siblings.

I don’t question the possibility that this is true. I question the reason for making so public an assertion about it. What cruelty would compell Harroldson to do this to his own brother? He has nothing to gain and risks loss of love from the person to whom he should feel the closest of kinship in life. Why does he feel the need to do this treacherous to his brother?
