This was apparently a Dovbush-T-10, a new unit developed last year by a Ukrainian entrepreneur. This one appeared to be unweaponized, simply a test of Russian security systems.
They got it incredibly close, the explosion (fireball) one sees was the UAV’s fuel when Soviet machinegun fire hit it from below, on the other side of the Kremlin Wall.
They are threatening to make their wonderful May 9th Soviet Union Victory Military Parade in Red Square a real nice nightmare. I think this will freak them out, just five days before the event. My bottom ruble says they will cancel it, or at least hold ceremonies inside perhaps (hoping for crappy weather) and I doubt they will even have Putin exposed outside like that on the dais, what with this kind of new vulnerability.
