Issues of equality and acceptance of transgender and nonbinary people — along with challenges to their rights — have become a major topic in the headlines. These issues can involve words and ideas and identities that are new to some.
That's why we've put together a glossary of terms relating to gender identity. Our goal is to help people communicate accurately and respectfully with one another.

SPJNK.
There are only TWO gender terms. Male and Female. Memorize them and you get an A+ with a gold star. All that other nonsense is for drug addicts.
What’s the difference between a ‘flasher’ exposing himself at a school bus stop - and a man (pretending to be a woman) exposing himself in the girl’s locker room or bathroom at a school or sporting event?
The answer is NONE. The pervert does NOT become a civil right leader... he’s still a flasher.
You are right!
They should’ve been defunded a long time ago, along with PBS!
Indeed.
Pronouns.
Who owns them?
Are they yours or mine or ours?
My pronouns are the words I use in place of nouns.
So if I refer to you as ‘he’, I am using my pronoun.
And you can look at me and call me a pronoun. Just don’t call me late for dinner.
Gender ONLY refers to words in some foreign languages!
Pretty sure that “Sexual Pervert” covers the mass of them.

Do you use “gay” for homosexual, “Black” for black?
>> Black for black
Black, White, Gay, etc are proper classifications. No one is truly black nor white, nor gay (happy) for that matter.
On the other hand, the “pronoun” nonsense is literally an abuse of language.
yawn yawn ....let NPR use this word salad.
Me? i will use the terminologies defined by my pre-Obama Websters Collegiate Dictionary.
From the article: “What’s important is recognizing and respecting people as individuals.”
Just as long as they follow the party line in all respects.
Damn straight!!!
“a way of respecting them and referring to them in a way that’s consistent and true to who they are.”
That’s the point, I DON’T respect them and it is NOT who they are !!
