Tallahassee, FL - Federal prosecutors in the Andrew Gillum corruption case are moving to dismiss charges against the former Florida mayor... Charges against Gillum...involved the misuse of campaign funds... Jurors acquitted Gillum on a single count of making false statements but couldn't reach a verdict on 18 other conspiracy and wire fraud counts... Several jurors later anonymously announced that the 12-person panel voted heavily in favor of acquittal but that two "biased" jurors prevented a unanimous decision.

Tallahassee is a state government town, it is 51% non-white, and it is home to FSU and to the largest Black university in Florida.
Trying to convict Gillum of any politically related crimes in Tallahassee was always a long shot.
