Yeah you don’t see under your own nose. USA is already splitted on 50 states and she already once fell apart on northern and southern states. So it is relatively easy to do it again.
We have a powerful federal government. But I think the rot is deep. Most likely will take centuries. Kind of like the Roman Empire.
