Steven Spainhouer rushed to Allen Premium Outlets — a shopping center in Allen, a Dallas-Fort Worth suburb, where the shooting happened — when his son called just after 3:30 p.m. local time and said he had heard gunfire.
Just one problem…
According to the Allen Police Department, Spainhouer is a total fraud.
Spainhouer thought that he could make statements that would make him a material witness to mass murder and that they wouldn’t want to talk to him or investigate his claims. When Allen PD caught up with Spainhouer to discuss what he saw, it was determined that Spainhouer’s statements to the media were materially false.

I believe he turned out to be connected the entertainment business in some way, perhaps an actor.
There was a follow-up report that exposed him and then it went down the memory hole.
In the VERY little I saw of him, he looked like a fraud. His face, his hat, his claim to be a gun owner who renounced his (and our) rights, and his being celebrated on left wing internet.
I don’t remember which shooting it was but a few years ago the trolls were all out pretending to be “right wing gun owners” who have had enough and turned in their AR-15s to have them destroyed by the cops. I remember reading it in the local rag comment section and no one believed it. Then, comment section after comment section had the same “I have been a right wing gun over my whole life but enough is enough.”
All these gun control people are lying hoplophobes who want a tyrannical powerful government ruling over themselves and society. They are not to be listened to or trusted.

The fraudster was wearing a T-Shirt with the words, “McKinney Strong.”
What is that about, and why advertise that on that news interview with the local CBS apparent CBS affiliate?
