Why would you assume she has servants, as far as translating plum tomatoes to tomatoes and plums in Ukraine to English, no surprise, especially for writers/translators who don’t can.
Speaking of canning, what if grandmas in Eastern Europe do can tomatoes and plums together or can buy them, what does that possibility mean to you?
