He’s much more interested in virtue-signaling than automobile racing.

I haven't paid attention to NASCAR since before Dale Earnhardt died. I chose to move onto IMSA sports cars and a few years back, they merged with NASCAR. Now it's the same Diversity, Inclusion & Equity crap with IMSA. Same BS with Balance of Performance (read - restrictor plates) and making sure everyone gets a trophy.
I grew up in motorsports, deeply invested in SCCA, working in the business and following my father around the east to see him do his craft with exotics.
It's been predictably ruined by the same people that think they know what's best for everyone else. Everything the left touches turns to s#!t. Motorsports has lost me forever. Fugum.
Yes, a lot of people stopped watching NASCAR. But a lot of people are really excited about re-opening North Wilkesboro. All the big names used to race there. The place was empty for years and looks great now.
