I’ve crossed the border by road a number of times (from Vermont or New York) and have only had one problem with Canadian border guards....and that was years ago.

I’ve never had any problem with the Canadians either. But we have twice had problems with the US Border Patrol at the Blaine crossing on Interstate 5. Once was a three hour delay while they tore apart our truck.

After that we crossed a few miles east at Sumas and had no problems at all.

Haven’t been up there at all since the COVID scare in 2020. Maybe it got better. Maybe it got worse.
