Some of us did it with the help of Guardian Angels, most of whom are still in therapy.

I survived a preventable bike accident in college at age 19 because I wanted to be a badass in front of my sorority sisters back in 1985. I was in the hospital for 2 days and have a huge scar on my top lip to remind me.

Ah, the “invincibility” of youth. It’s all just a huge myth.
