The Babylon Bee article below has its source in Harvard’s decision to eliminate the Hippocratic Oath that originally included such silly things as swearing to Apollo, Asclepius, Hygieia, Panacea, and by all the gods and goddesses. It had been updated in 1964 by Louis Lasagna. Now Harvard medical students write their own and the oath presented in the article is fictitious. This background that follows makes the article not quite as outrageous, because students can now select any words that free them from whatever moral dilemma might be posed to them.
