Undoubtedly true, but she knows that tyranny cannot succeed with an armed populace, and since the Democrats' end game is to turn America into a totalitarian police state that will make North Korea look like it was run by libertarians the Democrats are never going to give up on total civilian disarmament. The late and unlamented mayor of Atlanta, Maynard Jackson, stated, "We want a society where only the police and military are armed."
You cannot reason with Democrats because their goal is completely reasonable in their minds - must disarm us to increase their control over us. You cannot bargain with them because they NEVER bargain in good faith and they have nothing to offer anyway. "We want all your guns. What? you don't want to give them up. OK we'll compromise and only take the most modern ones for now, but we'll be back to fix this 'loophole' in the law later" Like I said they have nothing to offer.
Anti-gunners will never rest until we're totally enslaved, killed by their police/Stasi/KGB/Gestapo/ATF/FBI, or they're destroyed. We have no common ground with them.
