...good point....but it is not true that it landed “without its nose landing gear” or whatever...it was there all along...stowed as it should have been, but it apparently never extended....!!!..many years ago I saw a jet land without its nose gear extended and if my increasingly feeble memory still serves me, the gear’s uplock did not un-lock or something (the APG types would know better than I about all this...)...

Although it is quite aged, I believe this is the only aircraft not to suffer a hull lose.

OK to an extent, but the remainder of the plaane housing all the persons stayed intact enough for them to exit and carry on . Well done pilots/GREAT design and build American built airplane!
