No, Ukraine has no business being in NATO. And to argue otherwise, what would result? Would Russia stop and withdraw? Doubtful. Would Ukraine demand direct NATO involvement, likely. This is essentially a civil war between Russia and the Ukraine, we need to get out of it, stop wasting money and resources on it, and maybe even help them end the fighting.

There was an online article asserting that Mike Pence was promised the presidency if he certified the 2020 election despite the fraud. I didbn't think much about it at the time - this kind of thing has been said about Mike Pence for a few years now - he wants the presidency and will do anything for it. As Trump's 2nd in command, he hoped to win the slot with Trump's early removal.

His ambition might explain why Pence is being so public about calls for escalation. It looks like he's still earning his presidential bid - being fake-statesmanlike at the oddest times....Oh how our Deep State pines for nuclear war!

Kabar - the delusional part was not letting Ukraine and Georgia into NATO in 2008 when they applied.

Germany and France rejected it, for fear of “provoking Russia”.

6 weeks after Georgia’s application to NATO was rejected - Putin invaded Georgia.

If France had not been chicken in 2008 and had admitted Georgia to NATO then Putin would not have invaded Georgia in 2008 nor Ukraine in 2014 and then in 2022.

Putin initiated this war as he still has dreams of grandeur - of the restoration of the Tsardom of the Romanovs

Why did Poland, Romania, Hungary, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania etc. request to join NATO?

Because they KNEW the Russian federation was dreaming irredentist dreams.

Russia complaining about the smaller countries joining a mutual defense pact is like the school bully complaining that all the smaller kids are bandying together to prevent him bullying any one ot them.

Note that the countries that didn’t request to join NATO are either vassalized like Belarus or have been invaded - like Georgia and Ukraine
