What is really horrible is that LaBianca’s never knew of Houten.
The connection was the girls. Manson made money and contacts by supplying his harem of hippy chicks to parties around LA and San Francisco, particularly to parties thrown by the movers and shakers of the music industry. Melcher benefited from this arrangement in more than one way.
Yrah
so when convicted killers reach a certain age, you are in favor of releasing them from prison?
You used to feel differently, you say. What changed your mind?
There would be a number of things to consider before considering the release of a convicted killer. Have they been able to acknowledge the impact this murder has had on people connected to the deceased? Have they figured out what drove them to take someone’s life away?
Do they now understand different ways to resolve high conflict that dont involve breaking the law or using violence? Do they have a plan for where they could discreetly live and get their material needs met?
Those are some of the questions.
I still believe in the Death Penalty for certain crimes, but this should happen within no more than two years of the sentencing. There should be no stories of Death Row convicts sitting in jail for 35 years before execution.
I happen to think that sustained empty existence is cruel and inhumane, not to mention its very expensive.
‘On Leslie Van Houten, She and others who murdered should have been executed back then at end of the trial.’
everyone overlooks the probability that had it not been for the drug addled psychopath Tex Watson, there wouldn’t have been any Tate-LaBianca murders...
I’m not keen on killing anyone, but for Watson, I’m okay with it...
