I would agree with you. He’s on the right side of the issues that’s for certain. I hope he does well with this panel show. But somehow it’s just not polished, he seems to have a nervous demeanor.
I do watch and record it though.

He does seem a bit awkward on TV, but I’m sure he’ll get the hang of it. His radio show is my favorite since Rush passed. It’s a great way to start the day.

Correct...he is very interesting on his radio program. But, the Chris in a suit, behind a desk, regular TV setup doesn’t work with his quirky personality.
It should be homey, stuffed chairs, lamps, a living room, casual clothes, informal chatty format, to many talking heads with him. They have placed Chris in the wrong situation...fish out of water. The setup is just NOT him.
Agree completely. Needs to be a lot looser (his radio show is certainly loose and freewheeling!). An equally-witty recurring guest or two, maybe a monologue focused on the day’s news delivered in his usual cynical fashion, and, heck, why not take a couple of calls ala Larry King?
The occasional cameo by his “best girl” even.
That would be playing to his strengths, and a lot of fun.
I am a huge fan of the Chris Plante radio show. I think he’s the best out there. He comes up with phrases and word pictures that are great.
I have not been able to get into his Newsmax show though. It’s too much of the lackluster panelists and not enough Chris. He doesn’t get the chance to give his witty commentary and go one on one with leftards on the TV show. The format is all wrong for him to shine IMO.
Yes, yes...you see exactly what is wrong with the format they has placed Chris in. Agree BEST GIRL needs to be there on occasion or call in. They have a gem BUT have ruined his chances with the completely wrong venue.

It seems like Newsmax is using this show to copy the Five on Fox and it doesn’t work. I recorded it but I don’t think there’s any real reason to watch it because I can find so much interesting stuff on Rumble etc.
What happened to his gig on WMAL? How long has he been off their lineup? I really like and enjoy Chris but my work schedule changed and I couldn’t listen.
I like the show AND it is a hell of a lot better than clicking on TRAITOR Fox!!
I find myself not watching TV until about 10 o’clock at night. Mostly Internet programs mostly Real America’s Voice on my phone or iPad before that. I haven’t watched Fox except for Tucker since the election and now since Tucker is gone, no reason to watch Fox. They make me sick. Could not stand Dana Perino, and a whole bunch of other people on there forever anyway.
