And whose fault is that, Ivan? I suppose you would look at the loss of life in ww2 and recommend that we should of just ended it. Is that what you would of done back in ‘42? Your just worried about Russians losing and being on the wrong side of a 5-1 kill ratio. Talk about being a war monger since your side started it and could end it tomorrow.
I appreciate her posts a lot!

Yes. That passage had me tear up in awe of these Ukrainian patriots fighting for their freedom.

If the opportunity presented itself to end WW II prior to 1945, of course I would have. Who wouldn’t?

Zelenskyy and Czech Prime Minister Discuss Joint Weapons Production
European Pravda

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during his visit to Prague, has discussed the supply of weapons and their joint production with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala.
“We paid considerable attention, of course, to defence issues. Thank you for understanding our needs, particularly in shells and artillery, in armored vehicles, and in the work on air defense systems. We are clearly aware that the Czech leadership is not inferior in defense support to other countries,” Zelenskyy said at a press conference on Friday in the Czech capital.
He said that he discussed with Fiala not only the supply of weapons but also new production.
“Our states can significantly strengthen cooperation between military-industrial complexes, and this will be done. We talked about specific projects on shells and military equipment,” the head of state said.
Zelenskyy said that a memorandum of cooperation in Military-Technical Cooperation had been signed in Prague on Friday between the Ministry of Defenсe of Czechia and the Ministry of Strategic Industry of Ukraine.
The head of the Czech government, after talks with Zelenskyy, said that Czechia will supply additional attack helicopters and large-calibre ammunition to Ukraine, and it will help in training F-16 fighter pilots.
Fiala also said that the Ukrainian people deserve an “open door to NATO” because it is not only defending its independence but also the security of EuropE.
This “Ruzzia” stuff gets old, really old. At least the other propagandists don’t make up goofy names and perpetually parade them around.
Facts and links from the video. Russia has used cluster munitions since the start of the war.

They have not stopped using cluster weapons either. As usual with the more advanced weapons, they are used mostly on civilian targets.
There are big difference between US and Russian cluster munitions. US munitions are more reliable and have a lower dud rate.

"Russia, which has been showering Ukrainian cities with cluster munitions that have dud rates upwards of 30% (meaning that 30+% of bomblets remain unexploded and dangerous) is very very upset about the U.S. supplying Ukraine with cluster munitions that have a dud rate below 2.35%."

"For the people recently concerned about Ukraine using cluster munitions inside their own country, I got some bad news for you."
"Russia fired 10,000,000+ artillery, rockets, cluster munitions, & more inside Ukraine over the past 500 days."
" don't want to know the dud rate."
According to Broe, there is another counter-intuitive way to use cluster munitions. Since they work over a wide area, they are pretty good for mine clearing. A cluster bomb will get rid of a lot of the mines, which would have to be cleared by other means. If a cluster weapons with 100 submunitions with a 2-3% dud rated takes out several dozen mines in a area, that is a lot few mines to clear.
One other difference between US and Russian cluster munitions Broe did not mention. Russia uses cluster and other advanced weapons on civilian targets. The US, our allies and Ukraine use our best weapons on military targets. There are still people who understand the difference.
Very little opportunity for an effective “peace in our time” pact:
Remember The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union was a non-aggression pact that partitioned Eastern Europe between them. So, you would have been way to late in 1945. Neville Chamberlain found out just how late his appeasement policy was and particularly for for his signing the “peace in our time” Munich Agreement in 1938 [which gave the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia to Germany.]
Thank you for the documentation.

You may be interested in Russian opinion on Ukraine having cluster munitions:
“Ukraine was given dangerous cluster munitions. What does this mean for our [Russian] army?
The supply of American cluster munitions to Ukraine is bad news, they will seriously worsen the situation at the front. This was told to us by sources in the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense, with whom we promptly contacted.
FIRSTLY, our losses will increase at least two, and possibly three times. Also, unfortunately, the number of seriously wounded soldiers will increase, including those who will lose their arms, legs, and eyes.
SECONDLY, the number of deserters is likely to increase. “We learned about the supply of cluster munitions to the enemy from intelligence a few days ago. Many commanders are worried – now it will be even more difficult for them to send soldiers into battle. I’m afraid there will be orders of magnitude more deserters and soldiers who surrender to the Ukrainians. And there are a lot of them now, recently, for example, in the Zaporozhye region, a group of about 40 mobilized surrendered,” one of the interlocutors complained.
THIRDLY, so far no one undertakes to say whether cluster munitions will affect the enemy’s offensive at the front. “The situation now is such that no one will give you forecasts at all. We can repel attacks, the front may crumble, something else may happen, there are a lot of options.
I think there will be a new mobilization soon, it should help us,” the representative of the Ministry of Defense believes. Whether there will be a large-scale mobilization, he does not know for sure, but claims that in the last two weeks “this issue is being discussed more and more often.”
