A TikTok boat jumping challenge that sees people jump from the rear of the vessels while moving at high speed has been blamed for four deaths in Alabama.
The challenge, which has been popularized on TikTok, involves individuals engaging in dangerous water activities.
Those participating in the challenge launch themselves from the rear of a boat and into the wake behind it, as the boat continues to move.
Now, officials in Alabama have said the new fad has claimed the lives of four people, after they broke their necks instantly.
Officials said in the last six months, they had to deal with four drownings that were 'easily avoidable'.

Capt. Jim Dennis with the Childersburg Rescue Squad said these deaths are people of all ages.
“The four that we responded to when they jumped out of the boat, they literally broke their neck and, you know, basically an instant death,” Dennis said.

The article said there were other TT challenges leading to deaths - further down in the article. That’s why the Benadryl story was brought up.
I believe people are doing this. Perhaps it’s not a huge thing. But, they are covering deaths from this ‘dare’.
I never did anything that bad I always have questioned every thing and every one some tell me it’s a fault but what the hell I’m still here.

No names. No videos (remember, they’re doing this for the PURPOSE of recording themselves) What’s the name of the guy on the rescue squad that made the comment on that video? Four people in one area jumped off boats and broke their necks. No where else. What did the black guy on the video really say? Did he witness this, or even make a comment directly about it? No, he made some general comment about Tiktok videos. I am in Alabama. I watch the local news. There has been no mention of this. Until I’m proven wrong, I believe this is a bunch of media reporting on an urban legend as if it’s real.

Please see my post #56. In the video referenced in my comment they included a statement I guess from this guy but didn’t name him. I’m still not convinced. The TV station listed in the article, WPDE, isn’t even in Alabama. That’s kind of strange, don’t you think?
If true, this is good news. The gene pool is slowly being cleaned out ... too slowly though.
