We need a National org / States / LOCALs Forums. Hierarchical directory. (cities/districts/user defined down to the school if citizens want/need) groups to inform, unite and call to action locally. imo. Off the controlled Big Socials. So we can address stuff like this and Primary out RINOs in each district and region. Any time there was a call to meet at Lansing MI it would show up on my feed the day after. https://www.facebook.com/groups/michforprincipledgovernment/posts/1325667701661224/
So that citizens can unite nationally and locally in a safe trusted web domain, and start becoming effective against the controlled media/big tech.
Given the folder, hierarchy, infrastructure (State, Country, City, district Directory) i think FreeRepublic could be the backbone, as a resource to find locals on specific issues and concerns on the platforms/methods-of-Communications, their Local champions choose. Independently.
We need MUCH LESS, not more, unconstitutional federal acts and activities.
Do this privately.
Good idea, in theory. But I’m thinking once it went national it would be infiltrated by dozens of FBI provocateurs. Such is the sad state of our country.
Might be worth a try, anyway.
You are looking for the old Free Republic. We walked our talk, faced down armed federal agents to fight land grabs, had frozen water bottles tossed at our heads as we ptrotested illegal aliens.
That FR no longer exists.
I’ve tried for 15 years to get people to protest enemy #1, the media.
No one will.
We lost the USA because we won’t show up!
I believe you are right.
Remember, moles and trolls.
That’s how they operate.
The moles are already here, watching.
If you create an activism tool enabling local action, 99%+ of them could be peaceful and work for the good, but as soon as one bad thing happens, or when the trolls provoke something bad to happen in your name, then all the good will be wiped out.
If this was my platform, I wouldn’t go anywhere near this idea. They will eventually use it to shut you down, and it wont matter what your intentions were
We will need to find a way to out the Federal agents. This is a quick unresearched thought. Make it a State sanctioned organization, supported by the State police and county Sheriffs.
Fergittaboutit..a sizable fraction of those here won’t work for - or even vote for the most pro-America President we’ve had in decades because they disagree on some issue or other. The kind of organization you want requires an energized core of YOUNG activists with passion, clear common goals, money, leadership, and fire in their bellies, and that ain’t FR.
Just suggesting a dependable trustworthy point of reference.
Nothing huge, just a directory where we can look up by State/County, district, school name, Locals for meetings for any reason.
How can we find others in our area to meet with, work with, organize with? if local Champions would just post on a national directory, local events and how to contact them, using the platform, means they prefer, then we could find them and build from there.
You clearly didn’t understand the post.
Please understand that most of the people on this site actually believe that if you vote for Trump and blog with anger all will turn out well. The Tea Party died off quickly because it required physical participation in self-governance above and beyond voting and blogging. These arm-chair generals know how to win.
> If this was my platform, I wouldn’t go anywhere near this idea. <
You’re right z3n, and that’s something I should have added to my last post.
As you noted, it would only take one provocateur to slip through. One guy who starts talking about explosives, or whatever. Then it’s party over.
FR and most other conservative websites are pretty good at effectively policing themselves. A loose national organization would be much less so. Provocateurs would get in. And they would cause noisy trouble.
Kind of depressing. But as I noted earlier, it’s the sad state of America today.
Start with your neighbors and the people in your community.
Not online.
> just a directory where we can look up by State/County, district, school name, Locals for meetings for any reason <
Ah, I see you point more clearly now. A list of meetings, but not an active discussion board. Right?
This directory would still need constant policing. “White Power meeting tomorrow!” types some provocateur. I dunno. Maybe I’m just too suspicious of those friendly FBI guys.
Getting the Dixie Chicks canceled is FR’s activism claim to fame and it pretty much ended after there.
Do you know how many counties there are in the US?(3,143) Then there's political representative districts at Fed, State and County level, parishes, cities with city councils etc. I can only imagine the number of school districts.
Tell ya what. You come up with a hierarchical list of all of the above and I'll build you a info/directory/comms website. (for about $25k)
But seriously, I'm sending you a private message. I already have the basics set up.
Most, if not all the activists from the “old days” were purged long ago.
When I see the word “National” or “Nationalize” my eyes glaze over and I’m ready to fight.
Who else is this guy talking to when he “calls” for “national”. These days that usually means get the feds involved.
Purged here on FR by FR???
OSINT = Open Source Intelligence and is how the left doxxes conservatives. That and they have people on the inside because much of the bureaucracy is mostly leftists because they have a personality that draws them to positions of control over other people. That and they get into those positions for Viva La Revolution.
An anonymous member website like FR would not be the thing to use for activism due to the risk of leftist infiltrators. True The Vote has another project for cleaning up the voter rolls, I3V. To join, you need to upload a Gov issued ID. The left has a “non-profit” to help local election officials “run” their elections. You request help and they decide who to help. I imagine they target purple districts so they can turn them blue.
