When the writers went on strike in the mid 80s TV got better.
They used old scripts and brought back Perry Mason and Mission Impossible.
This is a big deal. The studios are demanding contractually the AI likenesses of actors.

The 10 year stretch of Rock Music (not “pop” music) of 1968-1978, was the pinnacle of great Rock releases AND concert performances, imo.
