If you just want the US to mind its business, both sides hate you and accuse you of being a troll, isolationist, and working for the other side.
This is a war of attrition.
A war to see which side loses more men and equipment until it is no longer able to fight. Does not require taking and trying to hold empty fields, small towns, or even cities. Just requires taking out military capability.
After 500 days Ukraine is losing despite constant infusions of Western aid, against a far numerically superior force ( fact) with weapons that have been able to defeat or neutralize the effect of Western technology that Western militaries had been trained to believe would prevail ( fact).
This is why the West continues to escalate, looking for results from economic sanctions, attempts to build Russophobic political solidarity ( bolstered by information control) and delivery to the battlefield of wunderwaffen that will defeat Russian morale.
It’s becoming pretty apparent that not only did Biden and Western allies underestimate Russia…economically. Militarily, politically….they didn’t and still don’t really understand the enemy they think ( or want us to believe) we face.
Yet the same clueless West keeps pushing and escalating because they “ believe” Russia will not carry out its stated intentions and fears our power.
