She got a lot of flack in this forum but I was always a fan of her music - I own most of her albums.
She had an incredible voice to go along with a tragic life.

"She got a lot of flack in this forum but I was always a fan of her music - I own most of her albums. She had an incredible voice to go along with a tragic life." Agree completely. Her personal life was a dumpster fire, but God blessed her with a unique talent which she shared with the world. Like all of us, she will be judged perfectly by a power greater than ourselves, so the opinions we'll no doubt see here are merely that.
I was particularly fond of her interpretations of traditional Irish folk tunes.
She was only a few years older than I am, and in my late teens and early 20s her music was a big part of the soundtrack of my life, particularly her album Am I Not Your Girl?
May she RIP

I know a few people who worked on some of her tours. I’ve never heard one of them say anything negative, even jokingly, in regards to working with her. That’s fairly rare actually, and speaks well of her as an artist.

I had a bad impression of her sadly until I woke up to the truth of the media. I agree with you, and may God shine his face down on her and give her peace.
