She definitely had a troubled life, at least at times.
Most of the people I have known who have had troubled lives eventually come to a saving grace in Christ. Her troubles only began if she converted to Islam.
She was protesting child abuse in the Catholic church, and was right.
On snl she produced a picture of the pope and tore it up right on live TV.
She was convicted to a reform school and girls were abused there. That case was later prosecuted, but at the time of her stunt people still didn’t believe it was happening.
