I don’t know if you watched the hearing, but nothing in this article was inconsistent with what was presented in the hearing. There was some backstory information presented, the account of Lt Alex Dietrich for example, but even that was completely within the context of what has been included in the testimony to Congress.

More BS. Fake. The max service ceiling of the F18 is ~52,000 ft. His claim of descending from 80,000 ft discredits the whole article. Joe really wants to get Hunter off the front page.

When you say the military is not to be trusted, do you mean the Pentagon or the pilots who testified as whistleblowers?

Misread, never mind, but it’s still 20 year old bull carp.

You didn't read the article did you?

Fravor said the "tic-tac" (UFO) descended from 80,000 ft. Not his aircraft.

And the account of the tic-tac descending from 80,000 ft was from radar/sensor recordings of the USS Princeton and USS Nimitz, not an aircraft.

It all may be “bull-carp,” but that is your claim. Present your argument why you think that claim is true.

Today if an alien craft landed and aliens walked out and did nothing hostile, I think the vast majority of the population would shrug their shoulders and not care, so long as it didn’t disrupt their daily lives.

Look at the most recent congressional hearings, we had someone with the proper credentials saying under oath, the US Government is in possession of alien space craft and the biological remains of alien life.

If that’s true it would be greatest scientific disclosure of all time, very few people really care, even here on FR, your average Ukraine war propaganda and any perceived slight of Donald Trump gets far more interest.

If some type of hostile intent was displayed by Aliens, then it would create tremendous panic. Personally, I would not panic regardless, I hope the alien news is real, I would love to see it, if the aliens have hostile intent, I would not panic or worry, realizing they have technology we can’t comprehend, and it would be useless to fight back against them.

Every physics book from high school and college is my proof. You can’t defy laws of nature. Scholarly men have written why interstellar space travel is so far from grasp, yet arrogant fools think that our tiny little planet in the middle of vast space is the focus of study of little green men from galaxies far, far away.

“An air controller quickly told Fravor that the object had been detected 60 miles away less than a minute after the Super Hornets had lost contact with it.”

Looking at this statement for a moment, if it was 60 miles away in exactly one minute that would mean it was traveling at 600 miles per hour. Not uncommon at all for military craft. Now it was said that it moved 60 miles away in less that a minute, so obviously it was going faster. Not knowing just how much “less” that a minute they are talking about, I would thing it probably was over 30 seconds otherwise the report would likely have said “seconds”. So I think it probably was moving no faster than 1200 MPH., possibly slower. Fast, but still not out of the realm of today's aircraft. The loss of contact could be explained by some sort of stealth technology.

Of course, this is discounting any relative motion. It is unknown if the object was then 60 miles ahead of the Super Hornets, behind them, or off to the side.

Not trying to flame the report but trying to do some critical thinking here. I don't see anything there that convinces me of beyond human technology.

Even if it was merely a CCP drone it still needs some form of propulsion and control surfaces to maneuver, of wich none were visible. So whether a drone or an occupied aircraft, HOW could it move and maneuver at blink of an eye rapidity?

--- "...completely within the context of what has been included in the testimony to Congress."

But no actual physical evidence is -- pardon the repetition -- evident. Only hearsay about it.

When it comes to human perception, we are faulty creatures. Witnesses to the same event often tell "versions" of what was seen or experienced. So true in policing, for example.

To put this in a sad but very human perspective, remember the lads who all killed themselves for the Hale-Bopp?

"Heaven's Gate is still one of the most notorious cults of the 20th century – not to mention one of the most recognizable. In March 1997, America was shook by the strange story that included mass suicide, wild public-access-style videos, an obsession with U.F.O.s and, in true late-Nineties fashion, tracksuits and matching Nikes. They also had a new recruitment tool: the Internet."

I am not saying that military professional said something false. What they reported was their perception, and how they interpreted it. Even so and NOT to make fun of them, what is "unidentified" is unidentified until identified, and what is "unexplained" remains until it is explained and credibly sourced.

People see things they cannot explain. Very often. And then an explanation is mounted, even if not proved tangibly. I mean only that skepticism is warranted, for all the "squirrel" reasons about which we have previously commented. Best wishes.

Are you saying that science is settled?;-)

BTW, no one is suggesting that aliens are flying here from some distant galaxy.

What these pilots and witnesses are saying is that something is in our airspace and is a threat to national security.

Let's figure out what it is before worrying about faster-than-light travel from Zeta Reticuli.

Okay. Now I am confused.

How do you poke at an anal probe with other anal probes?

Can visual projections appear on radar ?

I do not know. However, we "spoof" radar all the time as part of electronic warfare measures.
