If the girl was having a seizure, it was likely mistaken for 'fighting back', and the cops ASSUMED it was their job to stop the conflict.

Almost any situation you can name will be made worse when cops show up.

friggin’ unbelievable...just by observation...he was assisting...cops had no business touching anyone...
This is the third article I have read on this incident and not one of them gave any information as to why the cops did what they did or how they justified them.
Of course nothing will happen to the morons who assaulted a doctor.

It seems that law enforcement personnel are trained to scream counter directional commands at the top of their lungs, curse, while getting physical with anyone around them in almost any situation. They refer to it as professionalism.
