The Obama Factor: A Q&A with Historian David Garro

Rising Star, David Garrow’s comprehensive biography of Barack Obama’s early years, in which the historian examines Obama’s account in Dreams from My Father of his breakup with his longtime Chicago girlfriend, Sheila Miyoshi Jager. .. following a play by African American playwright August Wilson, in which the young protagonist defends his incipient embrace of Black racial consciousness against his girlfriend’s white-identified liberal universalism.

Yet what Garrow documented, after tracking down and interviewing Sheila Miyoshi Jager, was an explosive fight over a very different subject. In Jager’s telling, the quarrel that ended the couple’s relationship was not about Obama’s self-identification as a Black man. And the impetus was not a play about the American Black experience, but an exhibit at Chicago’s Spertus Institute about the 1961 trial of Adolf Eichmann.

At the time that Obama and Sheila visited the Spertus Institute, Chicago politics was being roiled by a Black mayoral aide named Steve Cokely who, in a series of lectures organized by Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, accused Jewish doctors in Chicago of infecting Black babies with AIDS as part of a genocidal plot against African Americans. The episode highlighted a deep rift within the city’s power echelons, with some prominent Black officials supporting Cokely and others calling for his firing. It was not Obama’s Blackness that bothered her, but that he would not condemn antisemitism.

...the Obamas’ continuing presence in the nation’s capital was not purely a personal matter. To an extent that has never been meaningfully reported on, the Obamas served as both the symbolic and practical heads of the Democratic Party shadow government that “resisted” Trump—another phenomenon that defied prior norms.

Cleverly slick and yet revealing article in re: David Garrow's "Rising Star" bio of obamaumao's "early years" (whatever those years were since they were largely concocted by.. "obamaumao" his mack daddy narcissistic self). A useful read, both as a "setup" for whatever the dems have in mind for the stoner VP as they continue to fabricate laws for indictments.The superdelegate decisions coming soon as well as the attempt of the few stutteringly honest who are not gaming the public in defining-"who are these clowns-obi and jobama?" at whose trough the machinery of the swamp continues to feed, to the detriment of the real America-- THEM vs... us, and insulting the country with 5th columns of fighting age males from around the world..thru mehico.

Coupled with Victor Davis Hanson's excellent presentation on "this all started with obama" exposing the tribalist philosophy of a race scam artist gone international- this interview (and the 2017 book ignored after 8 years of weaponized stasi building and muslim embeds) aids clarity of thought with facts, which any sharp real Conservative Constitutionalists left in the US (not the GOPe who has willfully never gotten it, and not the berniebot dems who take all the cash they can get in redistribution, and covid ppp reimbursement advertised everywhere). Don't forget the Alinsky bible of hitlery and obama-- rival gangs in govt. sinecure and kickbacks- it is the roadmap.

obamaumao (a proper placement name in his life's admitted published political spectrum) is still the worst present-dent ever as he now pulls the puppet strings of the top family grifters in US history in the Executive office, for his real masters. Grifts with Tom Hanks in Greece, and his chef dies "mysteriously" in kennedy-land, fouling the ponds and footpaths of Teddy. It was Teddy who promoted this clown and the Truman wing went along with it. Never forget that it was Jimmah Cahtah that joebama visited first to revive all of his bullcrap since jobama has no original ideas. Ironic, in that Jimmah hated Teddy, especially as he had to payoff Teddy's campaign debts. And doubly ironic when seeing how the dems are treating RFK,Jr- the enemy of the mil-medical-industrial complex.
